What's Above You
Monday, October 12, 2026
The sky above you right now. Every planet in its place. Point the instrument and feel what you find.
The Sun moves through Virgo. The light reaching you left eight minutes ago.
A thin crescent sets early tonight. The sky opens up once it drops below the horizon.
Mercury in Libra. Smallest orbit. Fastest return.
Venus in Virgo. First to appear after sunset. Last to surrender before dawn.
Mars in Cancer. Rust-colored and steady. Moving against the fixed stars.
Jupiter in Leo. Brightest after Venus sets. Four moons visible through modest glass.
Saturn in Pisces. Ancient rings. Cold patience. Worth finding tonight.
Uranus in Taurus. At the edge of naked-eye visibility on the darkest nights.
Neptune in Pisces. Beyond sight without a lens. Present regardless.
Pluto in Capricorn. Still out there regardless of the vote.
The sky on any night — past, present, or ahead.
